Karen joined The Heritage Group in 2007. Karen works with all team members to ensure compliance with company standards and policies. She also coordinates the administrative responsibilities of the property management department, including monitoring of all client, tenant, and vendor insurance requirements. Prior to joining the company, Karen spent 15 years running a family carpet cleaning business and also has expertise in real estate investment.

Education and Affiliations
Karen attended San Diego State University where she double majored in Physical Education and Psychology.

Personal
Karen has a unique history with Heritage as her dad worked for Mark Hoekstra’s grandfather in the 60′s. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and many animals in their “little piece of paradise” that they built in Jamul. Karen loves going camping with her family – to the desert with their quads and to the river with their jet skis.
